Pastor Appreciation Month
October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we are so grateful and blessed to have Pastor Drew here at Leesville Methodist Church. Throughout this month, let us pause to recognize the tireless dedication, love, and leadership Pastor Drew pours into this congregation. From the powerful messages of faith and hope shared from the pulpit to the personal moments of support, he is truly a gift from God to each of us. Remember to tell him how much you appreciate him!
November's First Sunday Food Drive
On Sunday, November 1, we will be taking up donations for Wittenberg's Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry. They have an ongoing need for non-perishable food items like 2 lb. bags of grits, rice, and dried pinto beans; canned vegetables, canned fruit, and canned meat; spaghetti sauce and pasta; peanut butter; boxes of mac and cheese; boxes of instant mashed potatoes; and egg cartons. An e-mail blast will be sent out the week before the collection highlighting any special requests or needs they have.
LMW Executive Committee
The Executive Committee of the LMW will meet on Sunday, November 1st at 2:30 pm in the Conference Room.
Youth Group's Friendsgiving

All 6th through 12th graders are invited to join us for our Friendsgiving on Sunday, November 1st at 5 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Youth are encouraged to bring a side or dessert! After we share our meal together, we’ll have a devotion and then play games. Please use the sign-up sheet in the Fellowship Hall foyer to list what you’re bringing!
m&m's November Event
The m&m’s next event will be a meeting on Wednesday, November 4 at 11:30 am. We will have lunch and a wreath-making activity led by Nancy Long. If you would like to attend, please use the cream colored sign-up sheet.

Killingsworth Gala
The annual Killingworth Gala will take place Thursday, November 12th at 6 pm. Tickets will be $50. If you are interested in attending, please let Debra Fowler, Jan Giesen, or Wendy Zwart know by November 1st.
Annual Church Conference
The Annual Church Conference is scheduled for Sunday, November 8th at 2 pm in the sanctuary. All members of the church are encouraged to attend to hear reports from the various committees as well as approve nominations and the budget.
CPR/AED Training Class
LMC is looking into providing an Adult/Infant CPR/AED training class. We need to determine the interest level. If you are interested in taking this class early next year, please reach out to the office by November 30th so that you can answer a few questions (leesvilleunitedmethodistchurch@gmail.com). Further details will be shared once we have the interest level and more information about a training class.
